1965 Coronet build

My 64 had factory undercoat.Really thick.I doubt much paint was under it.

Painted then undercoated if your car received it from factory.

Dropped car off at the painter. He estimates it will be thru in about3 weeks

Where does shield fit into the picture? I don't see it in the service book.
Got this feeling there should be 2.

Thanks

It goes on the driver's side front lower frame rail. It is a splash shield for the starter. The tie rod passes through the notch. Only one per car.

Great on the information!!! I don't need to run one down. Have to look for bolt holes when car comes back from the painter.
Thanks again!

Very nice paint. You can call me a sceptic because I never believed any painter would do the work in anywhere close to a month. Just hasn’t been my experience.

But then here you are with the car painted. It looks beautiful!

Mine is routed inside the roof structure with the passenger side across the center and into the roof frame work and down to the mounting point. Hope this helps, hard to explain
