Hi, I am sure I read somewhere, someone was making engine mounts to move the engines back to same position as 66 onwards K frames.
Maybe I was just dreaming?

Thanks.

News to me, the swap leaves very little tunnel room and necessitates transmission mount relocation and drive shaft shortening.
Not that I didn't mount my engine as far back as I could!

elephant ears/motor plate will let u put it where ever u want.....

Could you use a 66 K member? I think they bolt in, racers use to do that. Wait until other people confirm this. I made a pattern of 66 Hemi K member mounts. Cut off mount on my 65 K member. Dropped engine in and positioned engine where I wanted it, tight fit. Tack welded in place. Removed engine and welded the mounts solidly in place. Xram 3/4" from voltage reg.

No mounts that I know of. Many were swapping later k members with factory disc brakes. It does require some trimming at the firewall/floor pan as it’s tight in the tunnel there.
