1969 Dodge Dart Swinger... she's Home !

Seeing I repaired a cooked wire inside this MSD (that I picked up off an auction for 20 bucks) I thought it might be a good idea to carry it as a spare for the one installed on the car for when it craps out, as well as the voltage regulator I swapped out last week. Jack installed and secured, swapping in an iron with a 13/16 socket to fit the wheel nuts vs 3/4" OE.

Good job! & I agree with the spare MSD unit. I don't leave home without it. Ever again...

Rear markers all cleaned up. Darts are stupid with bezel screwed in place, then reflectors snapped/taped in afterwards. Unlike B bodies that are bracketed in from behind. Looks a lot better done correctly all White, best I could do anyhow without replacing the decal where the previous hack cut it out instead of folding the decal in the hole.

Thanks Richard @69bfan for the finishing touch !!! Slapped it on a little crooked purposely, but not as bad as a line worker...

Absolutely beautiful!

Hopefully you have all the tanks topped off (Car's & Airplanes) before prices go thru the roof.

Wayne, your quite welcome. The car is looking great and your insight and knowledge that you share is beneficial to all of us. Enjoy!!!

Another 75 mile grocery run today, to the store that's 2 miles down the road! I don't know what's revolving inside of this 340, but it's still pulling at 7000 rpms and will certainly outrun the Bee or Bird in the 1/4 easily !

340 Darts are quick little cars stock--and that one is not stock.
Enjoy it.

I had two of them small blocks, they'll stretch like a rubber band!! Good for you!!

By the time I did a couple curb side pick ups this morning, changed the UV bulbs and filters in the furnace, fixed a leaking water valve and had a late lunch there was no point starting airplane work... so I did a 240 mile checkup on the Dart this afternoon instead.

I do love this lift..

I thought the transmission was leaking based on a couple a dots on the cardboard I had down, but it's clean.

Engine is weeping and my fear was front pan/crank seal.

Nice and clean up front, so it's just a bolt weeping by the looks of things. Snugged them all up, we'll see what's what on the next check up.

Drivers side nice and clean, no rocker cover leaks.

Only thing I found even slightly loose. Got a 1/2 turn out of a shock stud nut.

Also fixed a weeping heater hose connection on the Bee, so they're both ready for the next wellness tour !

Ordered Thursday, received today. Driven right to my shop door by the cute amazon delivery gal. FREE delivery and only 60 bucks CDN! each. Can't beat it! Now to find the time to take the noise cans off and install these, so we can drive the thing without going deaf.

You'll like those. I used to run them on the cuda. No drone but still a nice sound.
