1969 starter 2875553

I'm swapping out the starter on my 1968 Charger with a 318. It does not have the original engine and this is the starter that came off of it. Does anyone know if this is a sought after starter. I've seen some requests to buy similar starters. If not I'll turn it in for the core. Thanks, Rick

Yes it works but seems to drag a little sometimes. It always starts the car but may need a rebuild. Core is $15

It's half desirable since it has been rebuilt using an earlier part number barrel (103=10 week of 1963). The 2875553 housing is definitely worth more than $15.
