1970 Roadrunner Windshield Glass Code Info

I am ordering a new windshield for my 70 RR and was wondering if anyone can tell me how the glass codes should read. Also looking at windshield from the front of car, does the pentastar and codes read straight on or are they backwards. Meaning if sitting in car they would read straight left to right.

If you are not ordering from ECS than everything else is incorrect for OE purposes...ECS is the only one with date codes and plant variations...

That is where I am ordering from, however they don't have coding info for car or which way the information appeared. If someone can snap a shot off of a 1970 I can fill in the blanks. I had ECS do all the glass on my Mustang and it looks great.

They glass and etchings are top notch but it is Dave I wouldn't expect anything less...

So I take it all of your etchings are gone. 70 I do not know and I don't have an example. Dave did all the glass for my X I am doing right now.

I will check with a friend but the hardest part is snapping a pic of that..

Yep my windshield is some 1980's or 1990's aftermarket piece I am guessing. You are correct on ECS experience. When they helped me with my other glass order, the customer service was top notch. 4 or 5 phone calls to get all the etching details worked out and never once sent to voicemail. If you can get a pic it is easiest to put a dark piece of paper behind glass and the etching shows up pretty well.
