2015 5th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Are You Ready To Make Your Picks???

Why is it when they interview Greg Anderson I want to punch the TV??

That must be your anti-GM bias, Reed! :icon_thumright:

Massey
Enders
And strange gut feeling: Courtney Force.
Good Luck!

A ford friend of mine is the national sales rep for POR-15. He told me he was going to John Forces' shop.(when he was in the fords) I told him to ask John why he was running a Chrysler Hemi in his mustang? He wasn't too happy with me. :)

We visited Force's shop a couple of times. It's quite impressive. It dwarfs the other shops down there in Brownsburg - even DSR's. Talking to a crew member, he even admitted that the "Boss 500" was basically a Chrysler Hemi. They make just about every component of their cars in house on their huge CNC machines - which are manufactured just 30 miles from where I live here in WI.

Whoa! About forgot to make some picks. Bel's pick of Greg Anderson got me all scrambled!

TF Tony Schumacher
FC Jack Beckman
PS Jason Line

Yeah I am anti GM but why do I always pick Jason Line?? LOL
He is from Minnesota that's why.

You're in real trouble with those picks, G.
Why?
Because those were my original picks for Las Vegas and you can see how well I'm doing this year!
You may be OK now in FC because I changed my driver pick.

Good luck!

Great picks all!

24 players again this week and 24 different driver combos made up of:
* 6 different Top Fuel drivers with two Round 1 powerhouse head-to-head matchups. One between #3 qualifier Shawn Langdon (1 pick) and #14 qualifier Antron Brown (5 picks), and the other between #6 qualifier Doug Kalitta (2 picks) and #11 qualifier Spencer Massey (2 picks). The winners of each of those matchups will meet in the second round of eliminations. No matter what happens, a bunch of players are going out early in eliminations.
* 8 different Funny Car drivers but only one Round 1 head-to-head matchups between #7 qualifier Ron Capps (3 picks) and #10 qualifier Robert Hight (2 picks). There are also three potential head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 7 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week. No Round 1 head-to-head matchups and only one possibility of a head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.

Good luck all!

Uhhhh your top MPH is wrong for funny car

Fixed it...thanks for the heads-up

go showing Gpuller

hopefully my picks, race better than they qualified
Line did well, lost to Enders in the K&N challenge thou
Brown sucked,
Capps mph'd well, ET respectable

we'll soon see in racing conditions

good luck everyone

If were running for points I'd be a rock star. All my picks laid down early.

All mine went out early too,
Glad to see JFR won again,
it's better when they're in the competition,
not just one super team winning
especially with DSR & their 2 super teams in T/F & F/C...

We need someone else winning every once in a while thou...

Some crazy results from the SummitRacing.com Nationals! Need an example? How about 20 out of our 24 players not having a pick make it through the first round of Top Fuel eliminations?!

Here are the results and point standings following completion of the SummitRacing.com Nationals in Las Vegas, NV.
Congratulations to 'bvt69dart' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for this event with a very nice point total of 103.5 points. He picked the class winner in Pro Stock; his Top Fuel pick went to the semi-finals before losing and his Funny Car pick lost in the second round of eliminations but his point total was aided by picking up event ET bonus points in Funny Car and event Speed bonus points in both Top Fuel and Funny Car.
'64BEL' (FBBO) was the event runner-up for the second event in a row with 89.0 points with a class winner pick in Top Fuel; his Pro Stock pick lost in the semi finals and his Funny Car pick lost in the second round.

Here's where the bonus points were earned if you picked the right drivers:

Speed - Spencer Massey, 328.78 during Round 1 of eliminations
