I kind of figured as much...LOL

good luck

I think Ocdart found another love and we are just the red headed step child.

Still many thanks to him for giving us this game!!

Sorry for the delay. I was in Las Vegas with our Inland Mopars Car Club working the MATS event last weekend and then took some time catching up from the two days of work I missed.

OK, this is for 'alsant' who thinks y'all are red-headed stepchildren...

The 2015 edition of the Four-Wide Nationals cemented by opinion that I don't like this drag racing format. There's just too much confusion and too many redlights caused by the staging process. And I especially don't like the fact that race-losers can progress to the next round of eliminations. Five second-place finishers of both the first and second rounds of eliminations were in the final round in the four Pro categories. That's just not how drag racing is supposed to be IMO.
Coupled that with the fact that the #16 qualifier in Pro Stock never completed a pass down the quarter-mile in Pro Stock and got into raceday without posting any qualifying time at all.
OK, down off my "soapbox", enough ranting for now.

Congrats to Gpuller (FBBO) and IEduster (FABO)for being co-winners of the Top Qualifier title for the 2015 Four-Wide Nationals with very nice totals of 28.5 bonus points each. They both picked the #3 qualifier in Top Fuel and the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock. Gpuller picked the #3 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle while IEduster picked the #5 qualifier in Funny Car and the #1 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
aslant (FBBO) took the runner-up spot with 28.0 bonus points.
Great picks all!

Here are the results and point standings following completion of the Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte, NC.
Congratulations to 'IEduster' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for this cockamamie event with a very nice point total of 121.5 points. He picked the 3rd-place finisher in Pro Stock Motorcycle; his Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock picks all lost in the second round of eliminations but his point total was greatly aided by picking up event ET bonus points in Pro Stock Motorcycle and event Speed bonus points in Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. And both his Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks both set new National records - new National ET record of 6.455 in Pro Stock and new National Speed record of 199.88 in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'64BEL' (FBBO) was the event runner-up with 111.0 points with class winners in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle; his Pro Stock pick lost in the second round of eliminations and his Funny Car pick was timed-out while attempting to stage in the opening round of eliminations. He was helped by his Pro Stock pick earning event Speed bonus points and setting a new National speed record.

Here's where the bonus points were earned if you picked the right drivers:

Top Fuel
E.T. - J.R. Todd, 3.713 during qualifying
Speed - Tony Schumacher, 328.94 during qualifying

Funny Car
E.T. - Jack Beckman, 3.983 while winning the final round of eliminations
Speed - Courtney Force, 312.35 during qualifying

Pro Stock
E.T. - Jason Line, 6.455 (new National record) while finishing in second place during Round 1 of eliminations
Speed - Greg Anderson, 215.48 while finishing in second place during Round 2 of eliminations

Pro Stock Motorcycle
E.T. - Hector Arana Jr., 6.794 during qualifying
Speed - Hector Arana Jr., 199.88 (new National record) while winning the Final round of eliminations
