me too... I don't have all access NHRA, just TV crap FS1 & Reg Fox

I'd also like to see start qual. to finish/finals
in the Factory Shootout or the Pro-Mod class too
albeit we get the Pro-mod at a later date, usually,
just 30 min. shows, no Qualifying
& would really like to see Top-Sportsman start to end too

That blind squirrel (last seen at the Thunder Valley Nationals) that sometimes hangs around 'ocdart' (FABO) found another nut because 'ocdart' ended up with 30.5 qualifying bonus points for the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals with picks of the #1 qualifier in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle, the #2 qualifier in Funny Car and the #3 qualifier in Pro Stock.
'memike' (FABO), 'shittyslant6' (FABO) and 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) were right behind in the #2 qualifier spot with 30.0 bonus points each.
'Budnicks' was the top FBBO qualifier with 28.5 bonus points.
More great picks!

We have 15 players this week and 14 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #4 qualifier Mike Salinas (1 pick) and #13 qualifier Tony Schumacher (1 pick). The next possibility of any head-to-head matchup is the Semi-Final Round of eliminations if the drivers get through both Round 1 and Round 2 with wins.
* 4 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of one head-to-head matchups in Round 2 if both drivers survive Round 1.

* 4 different Pro Stock drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in Round 2 if all drivers survive Round 1.
* 4 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers. The earliest possibility of any head-to-head matchup is the Semi-Final round of eliminations.

Good luck all!

Congratulations to 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2022 Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals with a very nice total of 245.0 points. Both his Pro Stock and Pro Stocked Motorcycle picks won their class, his Top Fuel pick lost in the final round of eliminations, and his Funny Car pick lost in the semi-final round. He was also helped with ET bonus points in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock, and Speed bonus points in Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'memike' (FABO) and 'shittyslant6' (FABO) shared the runner-up spot with 230.0 points each.

'Nick2317' was the highest FBBO player with 202.5 points.

Here's where the bonus points were earned if you picked the right drivers:

Top Fuel
E.T. - Brittany Force, 3.640 during qualifying
Speed - Britteny Force, 337.75 during qualifying

Funny Car
E.T. - J.R. Todd, 3.856 during Round 1 of eliminations
Speed - Matt Hagan334.65 while losing during Round 2 of eliminations

Pro Stock
E.T. - Greg Anderson, 6.567 during qualifying
Speed - Erica Enders, 209.39 during qualifying

Pro Stock Motorcycle
E.T. - Angelle Sampey, 6.796 during qualifying

nhra.com currently shows the following number of entries:
* 16 Top Fuel
* 15 Funny Car
* 12 Pro Stock
* 13 Pro Stock Motorcycle

Those counts are always subject to change so make sure to check to make sure your driver picks are entered.

Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!

congrats to P/S Greg Anderson, finally got the 100th win too

PLEASE NOTE SPECIAL "COUNTDOWN" GAME RULES:
* The "pick carry over" is not in effect for the end-of-season 6-event "Countdown". You MUST either post picks for each event or "lock" your picks if you feel you may forget to post new event picks or you want to guard against your computer going down for any reason. Of course, you can always override your "locked" picks for any event or change your "locked" picks at any time.
* If your picks are currently "locked" then they will continue to be "locked". If your picks are not "locked" or they are "carry over" picks from previous events, then you MUST post picks for the next event and each following event in order to stay in the "Countdown" for the remainder of the 2022 NHRA season. Of course, you can post new picks for the first event of the "Countdown" and "lock" them.
* If you override your "locked" picks for a single event, your picks will revert back to the "locked" picks for the next event unless you post otherwise
* Now that we're heading into the "Countdown", following the completion of the U.S. Nationals I WILL NOT BE SENDING ANY REMINDERS TO POST PICKS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2022 NHRA SEASON. To use a classic drag racing saying, "If you snooze, you lose"!

*If your picks are not "locked" and you fail to post picks for any event during the "Countdown", then you will be "parked" for the rest of the 2022 NHRA season with the points you have earned up to that time.

Here are the reset points going into the "Countdown":
2000.0 - Back in Time (FABO) +1
1970.0 - cuda20 (FABO) -1
1960.0 - Nick2317 (FBBO) no change
1950.0 - memike (FABO) +2
1940.0 - TT5.9mag (FABO) +4
1930.0 - Budnicks (FBBO) +1
1920.5 - Outlawd (FBBO) -3
1910.5 - shittyslant6 (FABO) +3
1908.0 - SSG Karg (FABO) -4
1903.5 - ocdart (FABO) -2
1893.5 - alsant (FBBO) -1
1886.5 - johnnycuda (FABO) no change
1876.5 - Rat Bastid (FABO) no change

1866.5 - 64BEL (FBBO) no change
1856.5 - ksurfer2 (FBBO) no change

CORRECTION: The "spirit" of the points reset as described in Post #211 is to not penalize players if their point difference from the player immediately in front of them is less than the usually specified amount. I just realized that 'cuda20' (FABO) was only 11.0 points behind 'Back in Time' (FABO) following the U.S. Nationals and before the point reset.
It would be unfair to then penalize 'cuda20' and place him 30.0 points behind 'Back in Time' following the point reset.
Therefore, following are the corrected reset points going into the "Countdown":
2000.0 - Back in Time (FABO)
1989.0 - cuda20 (FABO)
1979.0 - Nick2317 (FBBO)
1969.0 - memike (FABO)
1959.0 - TT5.9mag (FABO)
1949.0 - Budnicks (FBBO)
1939.5 - Outlawd (FBBO)
1929.5 - shittyslant6 (FABO)
1927.0 - SSG Karg (FABO)
1922.5 - ocdart (FABO)
1912.5 - alsant (FBBO)
1905.5 - johnnycuda (FABO)
1895.5 - Rat Bastid (FABO)
1885.5 - 64BEL (FBBO)
1875.5 - ksurfer2 (FBBO)

Good luck all!

I was poking around the web yesterday and found we lost some drag racing heroes in the past few weeks:
* Hayden Proffitt
* Judy Lilly
* Gabby Bleeker
* Russell Long
* Bill Schultz

The 'Heavenly Nationals' fields just keep getting bigger.

To heroes lost ...
