FOUND 440 short/long block

That was quick, just found one an hour from home.
I have my engine apart for rebuilding, the machine shop can't take until Jan. I'd like to speed that up. Open to anything from stock to 400-500 HP range. Machined bare block is OK too. I don't need anything super high end, just so I can get going on this. I'm in Central TX near Austin.

i've got two 440 blocks in the machine shop ,03 over n .06 over , bored line honed cam bearing installed . whats the bore on yours . but the trip is a long one .
