I have a friend who just purchased a 65 Coronet 2 DRHT. His steering linkage hits the headers when he turns. I looked under the car and It looks to me like zerks are upside down, thus hitting the pipes. Could someone please post some pictures of the linkage of that car,so I can win/lose the argument? Thanks
Tom

I will guess you have later year headers in the car.
The 65 engine in its stock location sits alot further forward than 66 and up.
65 and earlier cars require different headers because of this and they are usually more expensive.
So people try to get the 66 up units in and they are a fight.

Attached is a pic of my car 65 coronet with a 67 coronet K frame and 66-70 headers. plenty of room

Hello,I have a 65 coronet and I have Dougs headers, and had a problem with the headers being close.Schumacher has a shim kit for $30.00 that has all different sizes of shims that fit under your motor mount.Mine now fit perfect!
