71 charger Window roller!!

Hello

i was having issues with my window movement, upon inspection i realized the plastic window roller was cracked. I pulled out the entire window assembly and ordered the rollers. i now have the rollers but it seems the metal posts for the roller is supposed to be pressed into place.can anyone give some advice? is pressing these posts really necessary? and does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the previous posts?

So i figured it out!! yes it is necessary to press them into place but it is pretty simple and to take them off is simple as well , just grind off the back and drill it through.
