Is there anyone running a performer RPM/holley with the stock hood?

What intakes will fit under the stock hood with a RB?

My bud has a RPM on his 72 R.R Air grabber, he had to cut the fiberglass pan to make it fit.

yep got the performer and holley on my charger. had to cut the hood out for it to fit

The CH4B with stock heads beat out the RPM in bottom end power and only sits .4 higher than the stock intake

I have the M1 on a 440 in my 72 Charger, and it fits with the stock flat hood, but only just barely with a K & N drop down air cleaner. The front of the air cleaner just touches the bottom of the hood when I close it, leaving a very faint mark on the underside of the hood. I don't know if the RR hood will have more or less clearance...

RB with stock heads, performer RPM, holley 850 with a 14" filter and 2 1/2 drop fit with 1/8" clearance, I can see witness lines from the engine lift.

so yes it works with enough drop and flow through top.
