Anyone know what oil goes in a 3 speed manual transmission for 1975 dodge tradesmen
it was red coming out so i'm thinking atf , ???, i don t what to use

I'd stick with ATF, especially up North if you drive the van in the winter.

but is that what was in it originaly?
 
I still have the 3 spd from my '75 Tradesman, and the manual for it. I'll take a look for it when I get home today...

found this on a site . 75 with manual steering
 
I remember the first time I prepped/serviced a new Dodge with a three speed and found ATF. I thought it was some kind of a joke.

Removed a rear end cover on a new one and found no gasket, just black RTV. What? :)
