After 40+ years restoring/modifying various Mopars - Dusters, Chargers, Darts, Roadrunners, etc., the humble 64 D100 brought home the trophy. It was only our local cruise show but it certainly is humbling. The D100 took an award for best representation of Hot rodding and best in show. Since I dragged it home from N. Carolina in February a ton of work has ensued (retirement is great). A complete rewiring front to rear from scratch, all new guages, fuel system, ignition ,complete brake overhaul ( front discs in the works), front end/steering rebuild and on and on. It is completely turn key and now my daily driver.
360/727 is more frugal than the Cummins! And somewhat more fun.
Now, what to do with it?
Make it pretty? Leave it alone?
Sell it while it's a celebrity?
It appears that old trucks are really the "in thing" now.
