That's 'ol Beanhead in second...
100 mile ride where they shut down one side of a 12-mile stretch of the freeway for a couple hours early. (You can do that in Fresno and the world doesn't end lol)
Trek bottom bracket was being repaired so I rode my stupid singlespeed..4-1/2 time surprised me...and the fact I didn't puke riding the one-gear wonder that hard!

Congrats, but what's with pink girl's bike?
80s neon pink! Guaranteed to be the only one in town!
... it was actually kind of a joke, since my name is Lloyd my buddy said hey you oughtta get the bright pink one and name it 'Pink Lloyd'.. since my main ride is matte black with all black everything and I try not to take myself too seriously all the time, I went for it!

Saw that fixie you were riding; thought for a second you were doing one of those crazy fixie crits.

Ever do a time trial? Decided to have a go at the local TT circuit this year. Real short sprints 7.5-12 miles mostly.

Was going to use my road bike, but a buddy gave me his old TT bike. Needed a total rehab, he’s an Ironman guy and had 40,000 miles on her. Not a typo.

Those TT bikes are awesome! I've done a couple of 10-milers on my regular road bike...flat out sprinting with those guys is a blast. I ride my single-gear on the freewheel hub and use hand brakes; full-on fixie kills my knees (especially on downhills) I like long rides and climbing but I'll never ride that bike that far again..the stiff aluminum frame and geometry makes rides over 30-40 miles pretty rough. I don't know what I was thinking using it on a century...but I already paid the $75 entry fee!

I picked up a 2018 Fuji Tahoe 1.5 on closeout at performance bike, got it for $580. Pretty killer deal, spec'd good too.

My Continental from back in the 70s. It is a large frame as you can see by the neck and was always a ballbuster. A few years back I started riding it again and ended up cutting out the vertical seat post tube to install a larger diameter tube so I could use a shock absorbing seat post and drop the horizontal ballbuster tubing down some toward the seat post.
