New to the Charger world. A long shot but does anyone here have any knowledge of this real RT? Restored in ‘16 but don’t know where. Appears has changed hands a few times past 10-15 years. Considering purchase. Trying to learn any known history.

I looked online and wasn’t able to locate anything by VIN.

Thanks as always!

Registry information acquired from current owner:

“Thank you for registering.

Your car was already in the Registry database as it had been registered out of Santa Fe New Mexico back in 2007. The email address I have on file is no longer active/valid.

It was later seen on EBAY in 2011 out of Mount Vernon Illinois. Then again
on EBAY in 2014 out of Three Rivers California and then lastly on EBAY in
2018 out of Chatsworth California.”

Weird that it's a manual drum/ manual steering car.

The car is now listed as sold. Not surprising.

I like it. Bleep Bleep should go see it in person ASAP and buy it before someone else does. No name mentioned of course.

The "OG" is stamped on a different angle than the VIN, the differences in depth (sharpness) of the stampings looks suspect too. The difference in the depth of the transmission stamping seems odd also.

The stampings on my '70 Charger were made by an inebriated new hire that was assigned to work the graveyard shift on Sunday.

I'm not going to divulge my VIN.

Does that mean that they are like the the ones on this Charger?
Varying depths of strike, some digits look like the tool bounced at least one extra time, and a couple digits are slightly "clocked" differently than the others.

But hey, the VIN on the block pan rail and the transmission housing do match.

The VIN stampings on my '79 Chrysler 300 are no better. Different plant...maybe the same guy moved to Canada.

Nine years of practice and he still can't stamp digits worth a flip.
:p
