I came from the East Coast, many colleges, many schools....
When I arrived to So Cal in 1994 I was shocked and alarmed on how terrible the Black Los Angeles community spoke English OR so sort of "off-shoot" resemblance...

My mother was a schoolteacher many moons ago. She actually heard of a teacher of a certain ethnic origin who was teaching(?) her class to conjugate the verb 'be's'. I be's, you be's, we be's. (No Louisiana public school jokes, please.)

My favorite is, "have a bless ed day". As opposed to, " blessed ". "Wit" instead of "with" is real winner too !
I was way off on the " axe " thing though. I thought it was, " i'm, "fittin, to axe ".
