Backside of bumper

What is everyone doing with coating backside of their bumpers? Paint, clear coat, fluid film? I have new bumpers for my 68 Charger and I’m not sure what course to take.

Some use stone shield paint. Other's epoxy them. I sprayed mine with bed liner. LOL.

Always just left mine they way it came back from the plater. kind of a dull silver coating of some sort

That would be nickel plating.

Rustoleum/Tremclad aluminum. keeps them from rusting though from the inside.

Cosmoline or body wax. anything so rust doesn't start.
