Hi I found some mickey Thomspon Bias-Ply tires (sportsman Pro). They have a 8/32 Tread depth (just like Hoosiers pro-street radials) but they run a drag Compound. Will those Bias-Ply tires hook better than a radial being made of a drag compound? Why or why not go Bias Ply? Hoosier claim a 20 000 mile life on the Pro-streets at 8/32" tread, what could I expect out of Sportsman Pro ?
I would think the radials would be superior due to the fact they would have a bigger foot print with the sidewall flex than a bias ply. the footprint would be longer. also the ride would be better.
