One thing I respect about Chris is that he knows his **** and has fun with his cars. He drives them like we used to back in the day. This video is pretty cool he's getting 13s in AFR with a tunnel ram. Custom made scoop and s hood modification that was thought out. Looked decent in the end.

Nice guy, I was going to buy my charger from him, but something wasn’t up with the Vin numbers.

I watched his recent videos on reconstructing General Mayham. I wish I had a tenth of the skills he has. I don't watch him all the time, the guy wears me out just watching him with all the different things he does!

My Son in Law and I were coming back from the 2020 Zip Tie drags when my son in law blew a u joint in the Power Wagon, I was driving my Bee. This was just out side of Wickenburg , Arizona. Chris stopped to help us. Nice guy for stopping and pointed out the loose yoke that I missed. We got the truck back together and made it back to Reno.

I like the guy and hope to someday actually buy a car from him. That Bahama Yellow Road Runner would be a car I would like to own someday.

I mean how cool is it that he used his General Lee to pull his race car and trailer to races.. That is awesome.

I really look forward to his videos , his metal fabrication skills truly impress and inspire me to do more. He has been awesome at preserving old iron for our future rodders.....

Yeah, the guy has crazy metalworking skills. Not a bad mechanic either. Has some very cool cars. I like his YT channel too, but there is occasionally something about his attitude....? IDK.

I bought a car from him and couldnt be happier, Chris went out of his way several times for me when he really didnt need to, he made the transaction simple and helped with the shipper, cross country.... it wasnt a high dollar deal but he delivered what he said he would and even checked in with me after the delivery. in my book hes a good dude..Rich

Well what car was it?

it was a 73 Duster /6 car... if you look on youtube he made a video on a bunch of cars in a impound yard that he was selling, nothing special kinda cars.. i bought the pale yellow Duster towards the end of the video, the one with the dented roof, no option car, plain and simple.... im making it into a 340/727 8.75 console , buckets, ralley dash with a bunch of suspension upgrades.. i wanted a daily driver and this was a perfect car for that.. im also changing the look too, it will be a 71 clone, already did the rear and have the parts for the front end, fenders, hood ect...

I agree that the man has skills. He sure can drive too.
He has stirred up some controversy before though. He clearly knows the 68-70 Charger very well and knows how to reconstruct them to look as if they have never been apart.
Years back at DC.com, there was a thread topic on rebody jobs. I don't have all the details but I do recall Chris defending numbers swaps based on his belief that if he has the clear title to both cars that swapping numbers is not illegal.
I argued that it is illegal....in each and every one of the 50 states.
I see his point. You have two cars with legitimate titles. One is a clean 318 model, the other is a wrecked and rusty 440 or Hemi car. Why not save the Hemi car? After all the model specific equipment is installed, it might as well be a legit car, right?
I know that I'd be really pissed to find out that a car I bought is a fake.
Do you build a car for yourself and bury yourself in it when you die?
No. Cars get sold, The truth gets buried. A fake car could go through multiple owners that had no idea that the car was bullshit.

Yes he knows his stuff for sure! I wish and had his skills. And by far the most trait I love about him is his energy. Man I wish I had half of what he has. I use to sort of . Man I miss it.

One thing is for sure, the dude can get some work done. I wish I had half the energy, skill, and time. I love that he uses his cars too, like seriously drives the crap out of them. I approach my Bee's ownership the same way and flog it as often as I can. I'm an old dirt track racer too so it must have something to do with clay in our blood.

I hear you. But... I’ve seen quite a few “#’s matching” original cars that have new quarters, new floors, new cowl, new roof, new trunk lid and hood... 75% 2017 Asian sheet metal. I personally would rather have an original Chrysler made body. But it is great that all the sheet metal is available. I remember a lot of cars in the 80’s parted out because nothing was available.
