It's been forever since I've worked on cars, like 40 years. I see different answers online when researching also. Can anyone tell me if this oil filter is a fit for a 1966 440 4BL 4-speed?

It's the one I run on both my 440 and 400 engines. I believe it is a race filter.
I think WIX makes a 51515 filter also.

Although I dont "race" the car, is it okay to use on my weekend cruiser?

It doesn't remove as small a particle as does the 51515 but, I use them for the higher pressure rating on 3 cars.

I have noticed a drop in oil pressure lately after driving a while. Maybe this would help.

51515 is all you need. The racing filter is unnecessary for street use.
