Correct finish for strut rods 1970

Is bare metal with the gray, yellow, purple rainbow haze still considered correct for a superbird. Just finished these with some old metal conversion coating and rpm. I thought I read that in a roger gibson artical or somewhere. Thanks

Natural, I am fairly certain. Not sure but Frank is/may be the authority.. or at least the judge at the show checking HIS facts match.
