Made some executive decisions

The ONLY ones that fit in the rear valence are 2094618, but not sure if there is supposed to be one in one of the two holes in the bumper? Perhaps the lower hole.

I grabbed the old front plate which still had the bumper in it and determined 1943547 goes there.

So as for the remaining two 1943547?? And two of the FK216'smmatch the hood bumpers on the fenders back at the cowl that I already have

I'm pretty sure when you order these kits they sent a lot of pcs that don't necessarily get used on every model. That being said could they be for the ash trays?

Shake down cruise to the gas station....

Good news first. I made it there and back... and no leaking...

As you can hear in the video having a bit of trouble getting it to engage in gear. I drove it around the neighborhood several times before going to the gas station. I have put almost a 1qt and half in it since this video before driving to the gas station and it was showing full at hot in neutral on level ground. I need to check it now that I put a mile or so on it out on the street, but it seemed to me to only go in to low or 2 and i don't think i was actually in drive and thus not shifting. I never really got over 40mph so will let it cool off and check the linkage adjustment.

Other notes
1. still no gauges functioning, well maybe the ammeter which seemed to indicate a charge, barely
2. steering wheel is not even close to straight.
3. Feels like I need to adjust the throttle linkage, doesn't feel like I can floor it.

Well passenger side vent/side window installation wasn't as smooth as I was hoping.

First I installed the rear tracks in both doors.
IMG_20190629_143309.jpg

That went relatively fine, had to figure out what I did with the hardware but otherwise fine.

Then I tried to install figure out how the side window goes in the vent window track but all I succeed in doing was killing the crap plastic weatherstrip thing.

IMG_20190629_152735.jpg

Then went to install the vent window and discovered I have hardware for one side only...hmm...
IMG_20190629_143301.jpg

But got the passenger vent window in.

IMG_20190629_152858.jpg

Will have to order another set of weather strip things (maybe 2 sets). and try again on the side window

Screws in prior to headliner install so the can be found later.

Also note I marked the location of the clips for the windshield trim in washable paint marker.

Another keep busy item...wheel mldgs.

Could do one side, the other side has some runs near it that need to be wet sanded out so left the mldgs off.

So worked for about an hour today trying to get the trans linkage adjusted. I must be doing something wrong. I can get it to go in to park or into drive in the correct location but not both.

If I follow the shop manual I can get park but not drive.

If I get drive, neutral is at reverse and reverse is at park and I cant get park and I've adjusted the linkage every which way. For the purposes of shake down and drive to upholstery shop I chose the drive option and will use neutral and the parking brake for park. If I cant figure it out I can also drive to the transmission shop that rebuilt it and let them adjust it

drove around the neighborhood, got clean crisp shifts and even a kick down (though I haven't adjusted that). Think the carb needs a little adjustment and once I get the linkage sorted out should be in great shape.

Passenger side window is in. God that was painful.

I learned several things that I'd like to share

1. I tried @moparnation74 's trick with the black magic and it definitely helped on the track this time, plus having the vent window in the car helped, but still wasn't perfect and still did some damage to those plastic track weatherstrips (those things are just awful).

2. I had to loosen and completely uninstall the track at the back of the door and then reinstall it once the window was in.

3. I did not realize the rivet and regulator track thing couldn't go on the window until after it was in the door, but also i should put the track thing on the roller of the regulator first then bring it up to the window and then rivet

4. The door fuzzy with larger stainless edge should go to the inside. I had them backwards

However my rear quarter window is still well out of adjustment

Drivers side is good, look how much further it overlaps the door
