I don't see the value of keeping such animals as pets. It's not like a few years of close human contact is going to erase centuries of wildness. I would NEVER trust an animal like this. There are good reasons we as a species have never domesticated wild cats of this size.
Back about 34 years ago.. My wife and I were at the fairgrounds at Spokane Washington.. a young family had a Tiger Cub.. they said the age was 4 weeks old.. damn it was not small for anything that age.. playful.. but still at lot to handle.. it was cool to see.. but I dont think it would of been a long time pet for them at all..
