Got one wheelhouse installed, worked the pass side one today, I know I have an extra inner wheelhouse around here somewhere to cut up and splice into to make it wider! Wheelhouses, then Trunk pan (after major modifications to it to make it 'fit'), then Package Tray installation, etc.

Other side wheelhouse, apparently, I ordered, or, what actually arrived was the drivers side inner wheelhouse, not what I needed. Remember, I bought a spare set to make extending it inward easier, well, a little more cutting and such and it's working out ok, little more welding, but, working nonetheless!

Finally, I'm making time to do this car right, and not stopping for customers cars! I've got two pretty decent fellas working for me now that I can lean on for getting some of the time-consuming stuff done like sweeping floors, general labor, and one of them is good in skilled labor too! Got to pay to play! I'll be posting updates on this car, and I think I'll catch and maybe pass Matt on his build!

On the wheelhouses, all the metalwork has been done (mostly). If you look at the older pictures, you'll see Gray and Dark Gray, that's also Epoxy. On epoxy I scuff it up to allow better welding operations. You 'can' weld thru it but you're burning the epoxy off, cleaning the metal as you burn it off, so you're putting more metal down in this process wasting materials, time, and time on the grinding part of welding.

Yesterday. Panel bonded the Upper Body Panel and Package Tray together on the little curved piece of metal, all new by the way, and a little treat!

Well I was enjoying the progress pics but could care less now...... I like those helpers better!

Looks like she's coming together nicely, nice work for sure.

I picked up another 900-1000 sq ft of shop space last week, and, been busy knocking a wall down to allow access to that bay for my much needed additional work space! Satellite got no love last week, but, will get a few hours this coming week on it.
