Emoji menu, etc. not working

Most menu items grayed out and do not work while creating a response to a thread. Mainly, I can't access the emoji menu.

No big deal. Just thought you'd want to know.

Samsung Galaxy A35 phone. Haven't tried the Windows PC.

Mine was like that. It was fixed before the AI bot attack. The gray areas worked but a pita.

If that makes emoji's work by clicking on those bars, mine started working by dumb luck.Edit The choices aren't the same I think.

It has almost never works for me - the whole upper control prompts is grayed out. Tried to get some sort of fix with the moderators a few years ago but it still doesn’t work for me except every great once in awhile - probably a full moon.

Edit: just tried the [] brackets click and that seemed to work. After all these years. Now if I can only remember it.
