I remember in the 80's they was a guy that had a parts store had 6 superbirds. i think he had sold all them by the 90's. his name was keith bartuicci or something like that. i would love to get my hands on one

Actually, I went for a ride in one in Beaverton Oregon in the late 80's.It was a 440 6 six barrel.The original color was yellow.The funny thing was the owner was the secretary for the GTO club in the area.He ran an consignment shop for used hot rod parts.

Back in 1988, Carlisle auctioned off a black Bird, 440 pistol grip if I recall. I happened to have seen it at the corvette show, but I believe it was auctioned off all summer.

I was at Carlisle. I have a picture of the black Superbird. But, it was a Grand Prize drawing of some sort. If we're talking about the same car.
