Hi guys, been installing a new headliner and measured everything for fit except the dome light screws, thought it would be obvious!
Can anyone kindly measure the exact distance from the centre of rear screen to centre of dome light? I really don't want to mess this up as everything else has gone pretty well.
Car is a 73 Roadrunner

Do you still have the original HL ? You can use the dome light section to get you pretty close

You should be able to feel the screw holes, when I did mine I left the screws in to locate.

Thanks guys, got there in the end. I found a picture I'd taken and then felt very carefully until I located the right section of the roof. Just hated making that cut into a brand new headliner.
All good now though!

Been there done that and also found that the location isn't always exact. Even the roof braces are not exact. They are not off by much but they are not always on the money. Glad you got it done.

Thanks cranky! I was pretty unsure about taking the job on but I'm glad I did. It's not prefect but the car is a weekend warrior not a show car and looks so much better than it did for the last couple of years without a headliner.

Should also mention that a well known seller sold me the wrong headliner but I managed to get it to fit in the end!

Good work on solving the problem UK :headbang:

Yeah, I ll get some pics up when I can get the PC back off my son where all the pics are stored!
