Simple ????

On a '68 Coronet R/T, 440 engine, automatic trans, no A/C,
would it have a 22" or 26" radiator from the factory?

22" rad was standard erquipment on 1968 R/T. 26" would be optional as part of A/C, towing, or axle package. The size of the opening in your rad support would tell what rad it came with. I have a 1967 R/T that came standard with 26" rad, but this became option in 1968.

Yes let the car tell you. Measure the opening.

2898045 [22"] radiator with two piece metal shroud, & direct drive fan.

Thanks all

I was pretty sure of 22" but when I get to the car I'll measure

Thanks again
Frank

3.23 is standard axle which includes a 22inch radiator.

any other is 26"

Im pretty sure even the turnpike pgk which is 2.76 - 2.94 includes max cooling

If it was a 440/automatic non-a/c car it came with a 22" radiator unless equipped with towing pkg.
