VIN is RM23N1E

R: Belvedere/Satellite
M: Medium price class
23: 2 door hardtop
N: 383 4 barrel, 300 hp.
1: 1971
E: Los Angeles build plant

I'd say it's a real Road Runner.

So why are you posting here if nobody cares?
Also I have a 68 Charger R/T for you. Vin says it's an R/T so it mush be an R/T.

Who is going to be angry is the sucker that pays 18K for this piece of **** only to find out that it is a 7K Satellite.

I would be angry. Let's send him harassing messages till he takes the ad down. That rat bastard.

You guys go first.

First "who cares it's a 71" then "Satellites are worthless pieces of ****"?? Wow guys, I understand if it's not your cup of tea but some of us actually buy cars to build great drivers not as investments.

IDK personally I'm still bitter about back when I listed my top trim 350z GT on Autotrader. Back then there were a few dealers advertising their lower trims as GT's dragging the price people were expecting to pay down. If I owned a legit RR that I was trying to sell on Ebay alongside fakes I'd be pretty ticked off.

I'm not implying that Satellites are pieces of ****. I drive a Satellite. I'm implying that for the 18,000 he was asking for it at HAN it is a piece of ****.

Not to mention that it is against Federal law to swap Vin tags. I know some don't care about that and those need to ask themselves is that car you bought really what you think it is ?

I don't understand why this is worrying you so. If you know its a fake...don't buy it and forget it. If you were trying to pass along a warning to the other FBBO members, thanks, but the warning got lost in the sauce of your ranting.
Let it go...

I'm trying to bring it to light. It is sellers and cars like this that ruins the hobby. I'm not ranting. Just get tired of worthless post like from RC. Why are some of you all up in my grill and then telling me to just let it go? If you don't care then why are you in my thread? I'm not mad or all worried but maybe I should not give a **** either .I know enough not to buy this car and I guess that's all that matters.

Buyer beware when buying any car thats restored or altered. Im happy being broke then I dont get caught in the must have.

You did the right thing. If you inspected the car in person, and believe it is fake, you should let others know.
