:argue: What if you got into your car and you had to authenticate that it was you behind the wheel? Or is this Just another way to monitor us ....Will the car refuse to start if the camera is obscured & the driver can't be identified?

Meanwhile, development continues ...

no thanks there too much info now that they don't need :angryfire:

Not a fan of that, although I can see how someone could think it was a good security idea.

Probably due to their relationship with Microsoft.

They've over-engineered the vehicle startup process into a password complexity requirement routine.

Ok, just 45 more minutes while we register your selfy with furd, and download the latest service packs for the o/s code, and then you can borrow my car to run to the corner store for more beer.

This is what happens when you put scientists and profiteers in charge of 'progress'. We put them in charge of our food and look what has happened.

What if I'm going to a Halloween party? Or to rob a bank? Or to the hospital with a broken nose? That last one could happen.

sounds more like an out of control product development group...

Now the NSA can watch me pick my nose. Great...

What happens when the camera takes a **** while at 60 mph? Because you know it will glitch and/or spot check.

How about a traffic infraction or accident.....No more Just the facts.....

too much info they don't need but they will try and get some many stupid people on board ,there is already too much info gathered every day

I deal with "technology for the sake of technology" every day at work.

Sure you can do it, but do you need to?

One of our guys has a quote on his cube-

"Technology is a wonderful servant...but a terrible master."

Your vehicle (newer ones anyways) can already tell on you. You you have a crash, the computer can be downloaded for info that happened in the last several minutes of operation. It'll tell speeds, when the brake was applied and how much and the list goes on depending on how old the car is.

Snakeyes...
Remember these haunting words....
"If you think they are watching you, then they probably are"

They are watching you!
