The guy who owned this car when i took the pictures bought it from a Chrysler/Plymouth/Suburu dealer in 73 during the gas crisis. The original owner traded it on a Suburu !!

A dear friend of mine has a black 63 Savoy big block,A/C and cruse control.

The 63 was all original and i think the A/C was dealer installed. The guy who owned it worked in the parts department at the dealership. He also had this black car, which my brother bought for $400 and sadly sold about a year later. It was a 426 4sp, original 383. The guy and his brother bought new factory race cars in 62,63,64 and carried pictures of them in his pocket. We were kids when he showed us the pictures, probably 30 years ago.

Hurts a little every time I see that pic. Had I been able to keep it and do something with it,that's the livery it would have worn. Oh well...

So-o-o-o,the question I'll ask is this: Were there any Lynch Road/Hamtramck built Max Wedge cars with AC(and/or as Al said,w/cruise control),or are the known cars with these options dealer modified cars? I love knowing this stuff.
