Hi everyone !
I haven't been a member here very long but a few guys have helped me with some questions.Knowing that I'm sure to have more in the future I thought I would show my project in it's slow rebuild.
I bought this 70 superbee in 99 thinking it was just a faded out original yellow a/c car.Turns out it's DY3 with a V6F green stripe that had been masked off and painted black a long time ago.GTS documented it in 2000 and I stored it away untill 2 years ago when I started to restore it.
Here's a few pics of it as I've worked on it little by little.I own an engine building business and can't find the time to work on her as much as I should. DSC00002.jpgDSC00052.jpgDSC00053.jpgDSC00055.jpgDSC00057.jpgDSC00079.jpg

Looks like it will be a nice car when you're done.

Nice looking Bee..Best of luck bringer her back and hopefully more free time opens up for you and your Dodge down the road.

I love those 70 dodges! Good luck!

hi and welcome to the site nice looking bee project ,what part of ohio:hatwave:

Thanks for the encouragement guys I've taken a lot of pictures along the way so I will post some as I have time. The guy I bought the car from said he found it in a junkyard in Arizona and brought it back here to Ohio.
I think my bodyman did a fantastick job on it ! Thats me blasting the shell as I built the jig for the car and stripped everything before taking it to him.DSC00536.jpgDSC00633.jpg0117122141a95264060.jpgDSC00024.jpgDSC00236.jpgDSC00535.jpg

Love the odd ball color combo, best of luck with it. Putting it back to original I assume?

DLevel cool 70 Super Bee project, I can relate on stuff taking way too long, work & life gets in the way, way too often for me lately, I built 2 complete cars, in less time then my 1 current RR has been taking me....

detmatt1, yes I've decided to keep it original. One of the reasons I let the car sit for the last 10 years was because I didn't know if I would like the Dy3 paint with that green stripe.I thought it would just look hideous ! After getting the fresh paint and a ledger green stripe from Performance Car Graphics applied it looks totally different than what I imagined.
I'm working on the interior and a lot of odds and ends right now but here are some pics from when it came home from the painters.DSC00802.jpgDSC00803.jpgDSC00835.jpgDSC00853.jpgDSC00855.jpgImage004.jpg
