I wonder if the noise problems are just with our Mopar rearends. Are the nine inch and twelve bolt gears garbage too?
I have a nine inch that I might change gears in. I'll bet they have a better selection than an 8 3/4. I know "soft" gears are available for them.
John's industries advertises their (specifically) quiet rearends..... but their ad in HotRod ONLY shows 9" centers..... I wonder whose gearsets they use......?
