Hidden antenna

Has anyone ever tried the hidden antenna that is being sold. From what I read about it its powered and can be placed just about anywhere.

I just moved my aftermarket stereo to under the drivers seat and am using the hidden antenna. Works pretty good, have not done alot of driving in different conditions/areas yet, but so far so good. Just run 1 wire to a switched 12V pos. and you are done.
I think I paid $20-$25 for it off ebay.
