How can I test the oil pressure idiot light

If I'm not mistaken you can do that. Make sure the ignition is on. It should work if you don't have other wiring issues.

Supposed to be. A couple different things need to happen to make that work. Checking the wire to ground separately may help isolate where the problem is if he’s having issues..
