How long to wait......

after buying something from a member should you wait for said item(s)? My patience for waiting is gone, especially when other item(s) have been sold and "supposedly" shipped to other FBBO members. This just chaps my hide something fierce!! Now my trust doing business with other members is in question, meaning can or should I trust others? I've waited for about 4 weeks, and I understand people get busy, but damn, this is ridiculous!!

4 weeks is waaaay too long. I like to get parts shipped as soon as possible. As soon as I received clear payment then that part is no longer mine and it needs to go out the door.

The longest it's ever taken me to get something shipped was a week and that was only because I came down with some kind of a virus. How was the item supposed to be shipped? I've had the post office lose stuff before but I've never had any problems with UPS except for their pricing for small items is high.

The member hasn't shipped it out yet, that's the problem, but he shipped other items out already to other members and that what's pisses me off!!

Well the fbbo member said that I should have gotten my items a week ago and wanted my addy again.....hhhmmm smells fishy. I told him to look in his inbox for it and I consider my money gone. I will share fully what took place after I calm down and also get in touch with admin.

as much as i hate EBAY...i use it just for these reasons. youre covered on there for non shipping and general idiots that cant hold up their end of deals.

i say you post this dudes name so nobody else has to deal with this dick head!

I have had great luck buying and selling a few parts on this forum. Maybe we need a thread where you can review sellers??

4 weeks is way too long to have to wait for an item that was paid for. When I list a part for sale, I usually already have found the proper size box, or made up one to fit the part, so I can get an accurate quote on shipping. As soon as I get the PayPal receipt for payment, out it goes, next day, along with an e-mail to the buyer with a tracking number. Good luck with your seller, maybe let him know his name will be dirt on here shortly unless he comes up with the goods or full refund in short order......

He refunded my money, and if the items show up, I'll send them back to him cause it's the right thing to do. 'nough said on this and hopefully others will pay attention to this cause if it happens again, to me or another member I will post up the members name and I encourage others to do the same to stop this ****!!
