Hyrdgoon's - project angrybird

Both sides done tonight and you can see here the backing plate was put in for the upper tie in point of the strut bars.

Trial fitting the front wheels now that the front brakes are on and move to the back replacing the tail panel and trunk floor and it looks like probably the whole passenger side quarter :(

The same time getting things ready with the fab housing for the torque arm

I see, so how did it get welded inside there? Welded to what? Was it there just to give a stronger spot to attach the bar?

It was welded in while the piece was opened up and then closed in. The front part you could see was drilled through so a bead could be run around the backing plate then brazed

There's been a huge life change for us so the project will slow down but we are beyond happy to welcome our baby boy Lukas

I did however still get to the shop to mount my rims again and make sure my new centre calls clear the spindles lol

I don't think any lacking progress on the Bird will be as bothersome to you now, enjoy that handsome little guy. Many of your greatest days are yet to come.

Congrats!!! Enjoy them while they’re young.

Some pics of the torque arm setup coming together. Using the Speedtech arm but they don't make a full kit for Mopar so making it work!

That’s the first torque arm conversion I’ve ever seen in one of these old mopars. Pretty cool!
