Leaf Spring Rebuild Help

To anyone who has rebuilt their leaf springs, do the galvanized shims look correct as far as the way they are laid out?? I made notes and marked old shims, but my notes suck!!!

My phone camera has been broken for about 6 months, so I didn’t take pictures as I usually do......Doh!!!!

Note to self get new phone.

Looking again today on internet it seems the longer end of the galvanized shims should go to the front/short span of the leafs. That is kind of what my subpar notes indicated also. They are opposite of that in the picture, however look more correct to me.

I guess a picture is worth a thousand words :realcrazy:
 
I did mine a few months ago and just walked out to check. The long end does go on the front.
