In the early 80s I was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB Dayton Ohio.
I had my 70 SE/RT Go-Mango Challenger.
I used to go to a speed shop called Kammer & Kammer, Huber Heights Oh.

They had a B-body wagon, NHRA champion and man it was fast.

we'd all go to Kilkare Dragway and Norwalk to see them race.

Wagons are so cool!!!! :headbang::headbang::headbang: Doesn't matter what Marquee they are. There is just something unique about them and what can be done and accomplished with such a utilitarian vehicle. As for another Forum devoted specifically towards them? I think we have just enough already and wagons to me are always welcome here to be shown and discussed...My 2 cents...cr8crshr/Tuck:hello2::hello2::hello2:

We must have just missed each other.

I moved next door to page manor about 1980 (I was 12 or so).

I went to school with Bob Kammer's sons- Scott and Ted.

Ted was 4 years ahead of me and drove a 70, bronze Hemi Challenger to school!
Scott was 2 or three years ahead and drove a B5 69 Super Bee 6 pack car.
IIRC the Bee got T boned by a lady that ran a stop sign.
Shortly after i moved out there, a girl on my street went out with one of their friends, who drove a 69 butterscotch Roadrunner with the DC arrows logo on the side. That was probably the first time I paid attention to a peformance Mopar.

I was never real tight with them, but I did go to the speed shop a few times when I got my 66 Coronet.
Couldn't afford much as we were REAL poor. I think they told me about stretching the dist advance springs...and it worked.

I think they still run a Dakota.

My wagon...upgrades in progress, 3.9 V6, Dakota A500 2.94 rear gears...AC, cruise etc etc..basically I am on hold till I put the interior in the car...starting with a headliner.

My Dad had a 59 Plymouth wagon right when I got my learners permit in 69. I pretty much learned to drive in that car! I would love to have one but I have no room for it.

Holy cow!
NEAT!
I was looking for another mopar, found a "ol timer" in Dayton.
Hi name was Kenny Justice.
He had "MOPARS out the door"
A 71 Bee (383)
A few 68,69,70 Charger R/Ts
And in particular...a 70 Superbird. (White) Yup I know, a RARE color on a RARE car.
he told me he bought the Bird in Indians (45 miles west of Dayton) and he said driving it home on the I-70 it was the fastest car he'd ever driven! EVER!
A 440 bench automatic on the column car...PLEASE SHOOT ME? (Figurativeley, please dont show up on my doorstep..please?)
oh, yeah...he wanted $3,500 for the Bird in 83'
