lets start CAR movie thread.

Not so much a movie as documentary, but my favorite film so far was Eric Bana's 'Love the Beast'. Haven't seen anything that explained a 'car guys' relationship w/ cars as accurately. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Another doc that I enjoyed a lot was 'Senna'...along the F1 lines, eagerly anticipating Ron Howard's 'Rush' too.

Just found this one -

Moonshine County Express - dirty old Mustang and a '70 Roadrunner

I love how in the movies, the tyres squeal on dirt roads. :)

Just watched 'Love the Beast' on Netflix. I agree that it was worth the time to watch. I thought it was cool to see the Ford Falcon up close too, as I am not too familiar with them.

Duel, 1971 was Spielberg's first film and it featured a 1971 Plymouth Valiant.

Joy Ride: An Auto Theft (1976) A short film created to scare teens into awareness of the dangers of joy riding. Features what I think is a Sport Satellite.

Of course if you like sex, violence, and cars, then look no further than Russ Meyers:

Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) There are several full versions on Youtube.

Cragers on the front & slots on the rear 1976

sad story

messed up the 68 Satellite too

I must have messed up the post before. If you guys ever want to search for cars and the movies they show up in, there is a great site. Just choose the make, then model and a list of thumbnails shows up with the movies that type of vehicle was seen in. They rate from one to five stars on how large of a role the vehicle made in each film.
