Hey everyone! What problems I may face buying (as seller says) new 727TF for B/RB engine that was in storage for a long time, possibly without fluid inside? Here is some photos i have from the seller he made when opened it few hours ago. Is there any parts that can stuck or became useless over the long storage period?

Unless in a very damp condition,(rust or corrode) I doubt anything can/could go bad in storage.Very long maybe the rubber seals could get hard but I doubt it. Looks clean.

I prefer storing automatic transmissions with fresh trans fluid in them, but that one looks pretty clean inside. Does the seller know how long it was stored? If it's just a year or two I'd be tempted to adjust the bands, fill it up and install it in your car and hope for the best. It's possible that the seals are hard and might leak but if something sticks in the valve body it can probably be fixed in the car. Good luck.
