My 66 isn't done yet, but getting there.

Bought it a few years back from Kentucky and trailered here to Wisconsin. The previous owner must have wanted a 2nd gen Charger because of all the crap he did to this car including 2nd gen dash cluster, hubcaps, side markers, seats, script on the left headlamp door, etc....

Not going to be an OE restoration, but going to look OE. Was an original 383/727 car with ZZ1 citron gold exterior and P4W white interior and going back to that.

Original 383 has been pulled and replaced with a 71 400 block, bored and stroked to 469.

More info by request or at least when it isn't so late!

Hi Ron...is this car gonna be done before I die??

Bryan

Depends... when is that going to be? lol Yea, plan is this summer! Once my tax returns come back I'm buying the heads and torque convertor along with everything else to get the motor and trans dumped in.

Just giving ya crap, Ron.....you know it.

But the way my health issues have been going the last couple months...one never knows

Bryan

D*mn Ron, that engine is like total freaking jewelry right there...

...and what a transformation on the car...wow.

Ron did you decide on heads?
That thing was kind of a mess before you started! ha ha ha

Yea, big mess!

Going to use the 440source Stealth heads. Bolting them on out of the box to get the car on the road before Bryan kicks the bucket. Then down the line I will have some work done to them.

Yes Bryan, I know you're just messing with me... I do have a sense of humor!

Ron that interior looks GREAT!..love 1st generation CHARGERS.like to see it finished!:happy1: nice work.............
Sonny

looking real good there love the color combo :headbang:

Wow! The Devil is in the details...and it looks like you have the Devil bound and gagged! Nice work, man! I'm diggin' the color pallet you chose!

Don't get in here much, trying to get the car on the road... and the kids, house, wife, work, etc....

But I did get a few more things done!

Engine and trans are in.
Not sure about what details I posted earlier but here are a few.

Quick Fuel 950
Torker single plane intake
Stealth heads
Comp Cams .540 solid camshaft
72 400 block bored and stroked to 469 with 10.75 to 1 compression
4200 stall Dynamic convertor
727 trans with a reverse manual valve body
and the expensive list goes on......
