That's a good price if the milage is acurate and the car is in good shape.
But that's probably before at least 10% auction fees?

Just a couple days ago i've seen a german video of someone predicting a 560 SEC in good shape to be worth 100k in a couple years.
Maybe i should hold on to it.

At the moment i'm also not really wanting to buy a car since there's constantly something breaking down on mine currently and i have to spend a lot of money and time fixing it.

The last thing i currently need is another "project" that was supposed to be a turn key driver. :D

I believe you would better off keeping the 560 SEC in my own opinion. Now, it depends on what you want to do but, the Benz is or allegedly a superior car to that Corvette. The reason why I make that statement is you have to remember that era of Corvette was part of the "Roger Smith" era at GM. The other part you have mentioned is that you would be starting over technically. These Corvettes have electronics as well that can wrong too given their age and I'm not sure what special parts the ZR1 would use which would mean $$$ and rarity if needed. Another food for thought is the last "newish" LT5 engine for sale was priced at $15k about 4 years ago from what I saw.

Just to keep this thread up to date:

I'm going to a car show next weekend.
If i find a 1990+ C4 corvette there i will ask if i can take a seat and see if i fit halfway comfortably.
Who knows, maybe i can even get a ride. But unless there's a zr-1 it won't help much since the suspension on a standard c4 vs. zr-1 is quite different.

Unfortunately there was no ZR1 at the car show today.
One guy had ZR11 on his license plate despite it was no ZR1. -.-

There have been 7 C4 corvettes (that blew me away, last time pre covid it was just 1 or 2) even a few with the right 1990+ interior but i could
not locate the owner from a single one of them. So no test seating or ride today unfortunately.

But still have seen a few nice cars, especially the 70 chevelle i'm standing next to in the pictures and the six pack superbee.
The owner said its a real SS 454 car and it looked very nice, also under the hood. (He upgraded to a tremec 5 speed manual, that was the reason for me asking if it's real)

I also included pictures of some cars in the museum that hosted the show.

Well next month i will be at an even larger show.
Might have more luck locating a 90+ c4 AND owner there. :)
