Im a little slow sometimes... I just noticed what appears to be a misspelling on the 'jack sticker' under the trunklid of my 67 Belvedere. Notice when talking about the wagon, it says "SuRburban...? Im going to assume that the sticker on my car is a repop as it just looks too good - even tho its a 45k mile car - but the reproduction surely would have been copied from a good original; anybody else notice this on their cars?

I wonder where that sticker is on a wagon.

That sticker also says to loosen the wheel bolts.......should say wheel nuts.

Some people can't spell, but assume what they wrote is correct. They can be wrong... Reminds me of a job I was the Inspector on several years ago. Painting job in a large apartment complex. Part of the contract was that the Painting Contractor paint all of the transformer boxes on the site and have the words "Danger-High Voltage-Keep Off" lettered on them. Sounds simple, right? Well, I had to have him go back and re-letter 17 transformers that he had lettered "Danger- High Voltege- Keep Off".

I have two 67 R/Ts that were never restored. Both have original paint under the deck lids. I see absolutely no evidence of labels or where they would have been.

Where are they supposed to be what does an original label look like?

Look at post#11. One of our cars has the sticker on the right hand side of the lid.
