While driving to work one day this week he asked me how much an older challenger would cost. I told him pretty pricey restored. So I guess hes now on the hunt for a reasonably priced E body project. He just started this new job making 15 bucks an hour and has no bills. Other than a phone etc etc. So if anyone has something or knows where a decent Ebody is that needs work let me know. Hes not rich by any stretch but I'd like to help him along the way. Thanks in advance.. BeepBeepRR

Metal work is ok as long as its not totally rotted into the ground. No driveline is ok too. A decent roller project is what we are aiming for. Thanks.

Hes going to have to save up for a while before we can start really looking but I wanted to get some other eyes out there to help. That one you posted Jim would be perfect if he had some cash built up but he just started working so Its going to be a bit before it will work out. Thanks im sure that one will be gone in no time.

Oh man, no, don't! Get the most complete car you can, running if possible! Unless you have a bunch of parts, motors/trans, etc. taking up space that you want to get rid of, It'll keep costs way down and you can enjoy as you build it. You know how expensive missing parts are to replace? He might get burn out if it's to big & expensive a project it gets. Good Luck

Yea I do know this. But we will have to see what kind of budget he is willing to work with. Its either that or a newer challenger Maybe like an older R/T or SRT8. I know the V6 from a modern Challenger is like 300hp but I told him not to waste his time and go for a V8. I guess a recent version of the challenger would be cool too. Depends on how he feels looking at them side by side.
