I purchased this numbers matching 69 GTX convertible in Feb of this year and have spent most of my time on the interior, as the previous owner spent a lot of cash on the drive train.

New door panels and seat covers from Legendary, new carpet, LOTS of cleaning and several cans of SEM Landau Black. Still waiting on the rear panel trim.

I also installed a Classic Auto Air A/C system, which went pretty well, only took a couple of tech calls.

Engine and 4-speed was worked over in 2000 by previous owner, (40k miles since then), recent dyno still shows 465hp and 513 lbs-ft torque.

I did a lot of clean up here as well, repaired a lot of bad electrical work, new hoses, etc.

Cleaned up, repaired several broken mounts, and painted the front grille, and headlight bezels

What a tedious process that was! 6 to 8 hours of masking, and 5 to 10 minutes total time painting. The black on the hood and below the side trim is the wrong sheen, too glossy, but that will have to wait until next winter.

Cleaned up to the best of my ability, and painted the trunk panel, and tail light trim, they are pretty bad with pitting, looks OK from 5 ft or so.

Overall the car is pretty solid, no rust in the trunk, a little in the lower quarters, and 2 coke can size holes in the floors, again, a project for next winter, probably will strip the entire car, and start from there as it has 2 repaints, and the existing paint is pretty thick.
