My Tesla battery is dead. I'm locked out, and can't even sell the car! What can I do?????

Taxifornia Newsom and his puppets are forcing that electric **** down our throats here.
Every time I go to a car show, I hear about it, people mad as heck, holy **** !!
I don't know if EV's will ever catch on with real people that understand bullshit when they see it.
Sell your house and move to the midwest.

Yes, need to do that.
Getting sick of the clowns here, way too many now.
CA: The state run by a bunch of Movie Stars and the dumb shits that listen to them.

What's your house worth? I know a couple that sold out in Cali for a million 5 and bought a real nice house her in Iowa for a 300,000. (which is a mansion here) Also we don't have any vehicle inspections or BS like that. Our gas is less than $3 a gallon today. Lot's of wide open spaces and fresh air here.

If you're thinking that, do it before Cal Officially becomes the Newest Province of CCP China...

I'll sell it to the first Chinese Doctor that walks up my driveway with a suitcase full of cash.
They're buying the place up here, have been for years.

A couple of years ago or so I worked on a newer Mustang that had a dead battery. The mechanical door lock wouldn't work with the key....because of non use or other reasons? Had to call a lock smith to come out and wow, what a way to get in. Actually pulled the window out enough to get a slim jim into it from the top edge and get a hold of the inside lock. The thing had been sitting for some time and the battery went down. Also no mechanical lock on the passenger side. I'm guessing the car is 6 years old by now. The more I work on the new stuff, the more I don't want anything to do with it.

There are NO "new" cars in Our Future Plans. We'll keep looking for nice used, pre 2014 models. Too much gadgetry, and unseen controls built into the new ones...

These cars are in no way green. The work mining the lithium, is done by poor people in poor countries and is a hazard to their heath. Once these batteries are dead, there is no way to recycle them. The update on infrastructure alone will break any utility company. The federal government just past legislation that no state can ban gasoline powered cars.

I just figured you could jump start it from your phone battery

Speaking of Teslas, I dropped the wife off at the airport yesterday and parked in the short term lot,
right next to a 4-door Tesla. Didn't think much of it at the time...
When I came back to the car later though, that damn Tesla started flashing its' lights at me.

I didn't so much as touch the thing accidentally - it just started flashing first the headlights as I approached,
then as I came alongside to get in my Charger, it started turning on its' inside lights, too.
Sheesh.
Couldn't help myself at that point, so I reached over and lightly pushed on the side of it.
Darn thing started "warning" me, so we had us a conversation...
"Looky here Tesla....you're not a real car."
(pointing to my car) "This is a real car, ya damn toy."
Gave it one more nudge and drove off, laughing like a madman....which I probably am.
