Every now and then I take a peek to see what’s on Dynacorn Bodies and to drool over the thought of an all new metal car. A friend wanted to see the 69 Mustang and while there, I just had to see if anything new was under Mopar. First time I’ve seen this!

Has anyone heard what’s coming? Wouldn’t surprise me if it were the 70 Cuda, but I would love one to be the 68 Charger.

$17,999 + $495 shipping charge from So. Calif.
start with a fresh new 1970 'style' Challenger body shell
floors doghouse unibody frame rails
no rust, no doors, no front end/fenders/hood/grill/bumpers,
K member, front & rear suspension, radiator, electronics, fuel system
after paint interior etc. etc. etc. $70k later, have a new 70 Challenger

could still be a better way to go
then some of the rusty piles, we see out there, for more
Plus 100's of hrs of rust repair/paint-Bodyshop jail time

all the lil' parts will nickel & dime you to death

if
you already have a car with all the rest of the parts
& just need a good main body structure/hull
I could see it

I was going to do a 57 BelAir convertible for my dad
he really wanted on bad, he ended up deciding not to it
It was about $35k to get a completely new body doors fender hood
& updated roller chassis like $15k, of that $35k
your choice of engine trans mounts etc.
another $10-$15kk in trim chrome & windows, seat frames, top frame
do your paint sound deadening interior electrical, engine trans & rear
be into it for about $70k total, for a new car, that looks like a 57 BelAir

I didn't even get thru all the research on the reg./title
but it was no big deal even here in Calif.

not for the novice builder

There was a company, forgive me I don't remember their name, that was selling brand new 1969 Camaros a few years ago. Big money, but everything was brand new.

The Dynacorn page does say that doors are included.

The Dynacorn page does say that doors are included.

And trunk lid included too.

So fenders and hood would give a person an entire shell. If you’ve got the time to restore parts, a rusted out donar would be the way to go to get all the other stuff.
