Hello all, My name is David and I recently acquired a 67 440 Coronet. I ended up trading my very original 67 Skylark with a 340 for it. I have been very happy with it so far, especially since it is my first Chrysler product. I've worked on many GM A-bodies and all different years of modern Mustangs. But I feel like I may be a B body Mopar guy at heart just with how this car makes me feel. It is extremely original and the guy I traded had all three broadcast sheets as well as every part that came off the car to get it running. It was sitting for many years in a small barn. The barn had to be torn down around the car to get it out. There are even service records in the glove box where it had 140k miles by 1973. This car was definitely used, but well taken care of. Along with the broadcast sheets, the latest owner included all of the photos of the car getting yanked out, the service manual, and many interesting vintage items from the time period from the original owner. It is a 318 2bbl with a 904 and a 741 case 8 3/4. I'm not sure of the rear end ratio yet, but it seems to move it around ok for a cruiser. It even has the original LH lugs on the left side (which really threw me off) and the original spare and jack/etc. I'd like to give it a big block and a 727 with a 742 case and steeper gearset eventually. Right now I've got body and suspension stuff on order to get the butt back up in the air and running right. Also have a new leak at the gear selector that has been bleeding on my garage floor, so have that gasket on order too. But I'm very excited to work on this car and already love driving it and having it around. From a long time GM, Mustang, Toyota guy, Dodge may have a convert!
